SfN 2018
The annual meeting of the Society of Neuroscience (SfN) is the largest neuroscience meeting worldwide (>30.000). My abstract 'Reversal of memory and neuropsychiatric symptoms and reduced taupathology by selenium in 3xTg-AD mice' was accepted as a presentation in the nanosymposium 'Alzheimer's Disease and Other Dementias: Therapeutic Strategies: Preclinical Animal Models' on Monday 5th of November, 8:15am - 8:30am.
Great news! Not only was my abstract chosen for the 2018 Hot Topics Book that will be distributed to the press onsite,
I will be awarded the 2018 Trainee Professional Development Award for scientific merit and excellence in research by the Society for Neuroscience. I am very grateful for this recognition! 🙏
I had the chance to present my Alzheimer's research twice: on Saturday evening during the award poster session and Monday morning during a nanosymposium talk! Some pictures of the 2018 meeting below.
